Thanks for checking out my site.  I love color and that is why it figures so strongly in my paintings.  
For painting and writing I get my ideas mainly by exploring the world on foot.  That includes walking the streets of Portland, Oregon, or....





heading out into the foothills of the Cascade Mountains where there are innumerable challenging trails and spectacular vistas to enjoy.  Keeping in shape for that kind of physical activity requires considerable gym time these days. Lucky for me I can shut my mind off and do reps mindlessly for as long as it takes!
